Returns Policy

We pride ourselves in dealing honestly with our customers and we hope for the same in return. We will always endeavour to find a solution to your problem, so don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, queries or feedback regarding our products.  FUNKED UP are happy to take returns on bikes, parts and accessories up to 30 days from the initial date of purchase on your order receipt.

 

As every case is unique and the cause for return different, we handle each one on an individual basis.

1. RETURNS POLICY ON DAMAGED GOODS

All FUNKED UP bikes, parts and accessories are thoroughly inspected by one of our quality assurance team before being shipped. We double check and insure that there is no damage to any products prior to shipping. However in rare cases damages can occur due to negligent shipping/delivery, Manufacturing flaws that slipped through our QA process, assembly, maintenance and/or repair carried out by an untrained or unqualified bicycle mechanic.

DAMAGES CAUSED DURING SHIPPING/DELIVERY...

If your package looks or seems to be damaged before opening, or is damaged once opened,  please take photos of the box, damaged areas and the shipping label. Also please take photos &/or video of the unpackaging of your product to document the damage as you found it. Email us at Info@FunkedUp.com and we will find a solution as soon as possible.

Before shipping we do ensure that your products are well packaged and protected. In the unlikely event that you find any products damaged by shipping, we will replace the damaged product or component, and will deliver it to you free of charge.  Alternatively, you are entitled to Free Returns and a Full Refund.

Photographic and/or Video documentation will be required when dealing with any Return Claims or replacement part claims due to any damage

DAMAGES DUE TO MANUFACTURING FLAWS OR DEFECTS...

If your product is damaged or not mechanically sound due to a manufacturing flaw we will replace the part in question and deliver it to you free of charge. Alternatively, you are entitled to Free Returns and a Full Refund.

Photographic and/or Video documentation will be required when dealing with any Return Claims or replacement part claims due to any damage

DAMAGES DUE TO  ACCIDENTAL OR NEGLIGENT MECHANICS/MAINTENANCE/ASSEMBLY/REPAIR...

We always recommend that you avail of a trained professional to carry out any mechanical work. Damages and accidents can occur from simply over tightening or under tightening a small Nut or bolt. However we do realise that many of our customers are DIY enthusiasts and like to carry out their own assembly, repairs and/or maintenance so we are here to help should you wish to contact us for any advice.

We also have a policy incase any products or components become damaged as a result of poor mechanical work negligent final assembly or maintenance, or even as a result of an accident or crash. This ‘Lifetime Spare Parts Replacement Offer’ is detailed in our Warranty section, we offer unbeatable value on Replacement parts and returns when a product is damaged by home assembly, maintenance or repair (ie not by a qualified mechanic), or damaged in a crash or accident.

Photographic and/or Video documentation will be required when dealing with any Return Claims or replacement part claims due to any damage.

 

2. RETURNS POLICY ON FUNKED UP COMPLETE BICYCLES

A 30 day return policy from date of purchase applies to any complete Bicycles, provided they have not been used or damaged. We offer many ranges of complete bicycle classified as... Street, Street Pro, Ride, Urban, which are all covered under this policy. A full refund will be issued once the FUNKED UP team have inspected the bike and deemed that it is still in perfect condition.

Generally, the cost of return is to be covered at the customer's expense. We can facilitate or arrange return shipments on your behalf. 

 

3. RETURNS POLICY ON FUNKED UP CUSTOM DESIGNED BICYCLES

Under EU Law, custom built products are not eligible for returns as these are built to order. If you have any problems with your custom FUNKED UP, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we will endeavour to resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.

If we are unable to reach an agreement with your Custom FUNKED UP, we will accept a return within a 30 day period, however we will charge a €50 restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. The restocking fee is to cover the labour costs involved in administration, assembly and disassembly of the bike.

4. RETURNS POLICY ON PARTS, ACCESSORIES, APPAREL

Parts and Accessories can be returned unopened and unused within 30 days of the date of purchase.
